Vodacom Direct - Service

Hi,

I have been considering moving from MTN to VC and thought I would call Vodacom Direct.

I waiting on the line from 15 minutes at 15h00 today and now for another 20 minutes (still waiting) at 17h00.

Is there a problem with their call centre, or is this indicative of the service one can expect from this company?

I wanted to do a port from MTN to VC, I did it on the 13th of Aug, they said it would take 24 hours.... that was over three weeks ago.


Emailed them, called them, spent about R220 in calls to them to figure out what is wrong. they are F-U-C-K-I-N-G USELESS! - MTN is not much better....

I have not tried Vodacom Direct, but I have always received excellent service from the cellucity store in Canal Walk. Some things are just better face to face.
 
Had quite a few accounts with VC for 13 years, and been reasonably happy (except for data contracts which are a lottery) I only dealt with Vodacom Direct a few times.

Sorry Cavedog - I don't agree with you. Vodacom Direct will have to improve beyond recognition to get to F-U-C-K-I-N-G USELESS! IMHO the entity should be closed down. Period.

Don't deal with a VodaShop for contractual matters. EVER
Don't deal with a Vodacom 4U store for contractual matters. EVER

Deal with Vodacom Service Provider Company directly. As far as service goes I've NEVER had an issue...
