Vodacom - Early upgrade

Hi guys. I was wondering if someone could help me, because vodacom is useless and can't answer my question. I am on a 24 month data contract at vodacom, and twelve months has past and I want to upgrade early to the new iPhone 7 Plus, but is there a way I can cancel or upgrade my data contract so that I can start a new contract for the iPhone 7 Plus?

You'll need to do an early settlement to cancel the existing contract then reapply for the new contract after being vetted again. Might as well just apply for a new service instead of paying cancelation fees.

From my experience if you login to vodacom portal you are able to check your early upgrade....normally its 3 months
before contract renews.

Nope.
Early upgrade doesn't occur anymore sadly. Used to be 12 months and you could but not anymore.

Pay off your contract and open another.
