Vodacom Email - IMAP?

I've just reinstalled Windows/mail ... how do I make it so that instead of downloading all my mail (POP?) it views what is on the server only (IMAP?) What settings?

I cannot login to Vodamail now, it's just redirecting and hangs then.

Check in your mail account settings, or try to use imap.vodamail.co.za for incoming mail. See if it works.

Why not try imap4 instead of just imap. The webpage for vodamail has changed to https://vodamail.secure.vodacom.co.za/vodamail_ui/?skipsso=true#home. I have been informed that Vodamail does not run a full imap ms exchange service but a limited imap4 service.

Also - surely the outgoing needs to be an imap type account too?

I think it is time you approached "VodacomData" for assistance please. It was my understanding that Vodamail does NOT OFFER FULL IMAP services gleamed from past dealings with Vodamail administrators, but a limited IMAP4 hence using IMAP4 on outgoing and incoming.
