So I have cancelled by Vodacom instructions my email service, but I got notification from them that they are still going to bill me. What a disgrace to deal with this company.
 
I know. And they stole my R29 airtime too!!
And this is even after getting confirmation from them on Thursday that I will not be billed because I did not accept the email upgrade. But a few hours later, and there R29 gone from my airtime. I called vodacom now, and the consultant could not explain why my airtime was deducted.

After going in circles and sending various proof of screenshots sending the 2 to 3118 on the Jan 28 and of the deduction to Vodacom on various social media I eventually got my R29 back. it took me 3 days. Then they wanted to know various security answers like when did i recharge last, what numbers did i call, how much Vodabucks i have and on and on.
 
My problem is that firstly, it's illegal. They can't deduct subscription fees for something you are not subscribed to and without permission.

Second, their system still shows that I am not on the premium 5gb email service.
So they can't explain why my airtime was deducted. They don't know.

And furthermore, how do you unsubscribe from something that you not even subscribed to, to prevent this from happening again next month and beyond that?
