I'm a bit pissed off at the moment. I download torrents a few times a week and I'm lucky if I get a down speed of 1kB/s on a 20Mbit line.
We were one of their first customers in the area and was downloading at full line speed for a while, a few weeks later and I'm stuck with this crap :(
Nobody at VC can tell me how their shaping policies work, and I've also found out that our area isn't even connected to the outside via fibre, they're using a microwave dish :erm:

More than likely the microwave that is battling or shaping obviously.

Lol Fibre over Microwave. Bet they didn't put that in their aggressive sales pitch to your complex?

Correct. I only found out once the installation was done. There's 200 houses in this estate and VC are offering packages up to 100Mbps.
Torrents currently running at a glorious 2kB/S :D

What a turd VC fibre is. I wish I could get the ladies to go down on me as often as VC does. Been offline since 21:00, now intermittent. Seems like their call center only operates when someone is awake to take the call.
