Morning all

Not big into intro's, but I am new to the forum and would just like to keep up to date with latest news.

I have a huge problem with a fraudulent mobile data contract that suddenly appeared on my statement, and at R27,000 for the month!!!

It's been one month with no one at Vodacom assisting me, tried 4 times with the fraud department, 3 times accounts, once with legal and still nothing, they keep on billing

Any help will be appreciated.

First cancel the debit order.
Go to the police do an avidavit that you did not sign for an additional cell/data contract.
Pay via eft what is correctly due to them.
Ask them to provide info and proof of when the contract was signed for.

Just as an aside, Vodacom execs alerted me to this thread. Shows they follow MBB :)

For all the flak he takes here, Jannie is helpful when you have an issue. Wonder what happened with their rep here.

The only operator with rep now appears to be cell C. The rest are adhoc

Still waiting for them to find a contract I allegedly signed almost two years later now.

I've just moved away from them and given up.

My first time on this platform but its currently my last hope as I have for some time now been struggling to get Vodacom to resolve the issue of a fraudulent data contract under my name. I picked up 3 unauthorised debits going through my bank account and reversed 2 of those and later this month my credit profile showed overdue account (Vodacom). What gets to me is the non response from their fraud dispute department, all quiet not even acknowledgement of documents submitted. Going through the call centre to try and get updates is a nightmare no help at all. Vodacom must step up and own up to the mess they have created

Any help will be appreciated
