That is a lie... do not do that!!!!!!! The night owl is only for signing a contract for a mygig1... and that will cost you a small fortune... Rather get Cell C 2gigs a month for R150pm, on speeds waymore ideal than vodacom, i'm getting that today. I tried the prepaid one, ended up throwing away a gig, it's in their list of things at the bottom, not to prepaid customers... It is actually false advertising them saying buy a gig and get one free, it shoud be sign for a gig a month for 24 months and get a gig free.

You don't need to sign a new 24 month data contract to do this. You can add a month-to-month bundle to your existing voice contract which does qualify and you can cancel it with a months notice. Add a DataSIM to that an you are good to go.

Well it doesn't work on Topup or Prepaid.
Clearly states that on the Vodacom site, but yes it is a pity that pre-paid users are excluded.
