Vodacom FTTH - Static IP

Hi All,

I wonder if anyone is on Vodacom FTTH and is using a static IP, i phoned through to the call centre and they said not a chance... But when i spoke to the guys who sold it to me and the guys who installed they said its possible?

Was wondering the same thing and then remembered that I do not really need one. Why do you need one?

I don't think it would make sense to have a static ip since vodacom blocks port 80 and 433 because it's an "Internal service port".
Probably better to use a ddns service.
