Many users have complained about the poor value received from Vodacom Gated Services. We have VGS operating in our estate, and recently read on these forums that Vodacom had exited from VGS and was no longer part of VGS.

Subsequent to this I received my monthly invoice for May on the 28 April 2011, and noticed that whilst the company name has quietly been changed to Gated Solutions (Pty) Ltd, they have kept everything the same (including displaying the Vodacom Logo) on their invoices.

In addition, I never received a notice from VGS or my estate, informing me as a consumer about Vodacom's exit from VGS. It all seems to be "hush-hush" from Gated Solutions' side.

I sent Gated Solutions an e-mail asking why they are still using the vodacom logo on their invoices, and they have at this point seemingly chosen to ignore my e-mail.

Any thoughts on this?
