Vodacom - How things changed.

Sounds like you might need some counseling. Vodacom, MTN, CellC, Telkom.... They are all the same. There is no 'family'. In their eyes you will always be the postmans kid there to make them rich.

Month-to-month is the best choice. Fortunately I get good speeds with MTN so use Afrihost or Axxess for data and minutes. Telkom and CellC is like a fart in the wind where I stay.

MTN 100 min, 100SMS(waste IMHO), 2GB with 3 month roll-over for R219 month-to-month. Please tell me you can beat that?

I get 120/200/500 (+125mb extra for first 5 days of billing cycle) on MTN and it costs me R129/pm with a maximum of current month + 200% rollover. 24 month contract with 30 day notice to cancel with no penalty. So pretty much month-to-month.

They used to do double everything on a 24 month sim only contract. Don't know if they still do. So you could get the M package for the price of the S.

Forgot - NO ROLLOVER on sim only with VC

Not on the Net, no. You will find it in the Yellow magazine under SIM only deals, or ask over the counter. One of the shop assistants actually recommended it in store when we wanted to upgrade/downgrade.
