I upgraded my contract with Vodacom and part of the upgrade I received a tablet as part of the upgrade deal.
No instructions were sent/given on what to do to activate the new number/SIM for the tablet. After I contacted Vodacom I was informed that I need to put the SIM in the device and switch it on whereafter it will register on the network. It has been now almost two days and still, nothing happened.
Vodacom is always quick to push new "deals" and promotions to you and then at the end of the day when you need assistance, they are the most unhelpful service provider out there. They will say that they will call you and nothing happens. It takes weeks even months before they react to online queries.
I need someone to contact me to have this resolved asap.
