Vodacom IP addresses blocked

When I visit the site:

http://www.securitynewsportal.com/​

I get the message:

Your IP Range is Blocked

There is too much Bot and script kiddie activity originating from your IP range​

This is from a Vodacom 3G connection in Cape Town.
Anyone else getting this?

Probably some script kiddie who used a voda prepaid sim to launch attacks as it's not easy to trace back to the attacker.

It appears its not only the Vodacom ip range. I am blocked as well with an Axxess (non-IS) account.

(Almost) All traffic in .za goes through a very small set of IP's, namely the SAIX transparent cache proxy servers. Blacklist those IP's and you blacklist South Africa (almost, exceptions obviously any ISP with their own international lines that are non-SAIX, or that break out on the SATs further then normal home dial up users).

OK, looks like this has got nothing to do with Vodacom then.
If that site wants to block the whole country then so be it.

I get the same message on a Neotel fibre connection.

Maybe their site has been hacked!

No, it works fine for me via a higher up link as per what I said, ie. not through the SAIX SAT Cache, also it works through some Tor exit nodes. So their site definitely has not been hacked, they are just blocking the proxy IP's for .za.
