Vodacom iPhone contract

Did vodacom change how much data we get on the iphone contract from today? Normally we get 250mb per month, but when I checked my balance this morning, it said I got 500mb this month...is this correct or a glitch?
 
Same contract and it also says that my data allowance for the month is 500megs....haven't heard anything about an upgarde. Would be awesome if this is for real but might just be some bug in Vodacom's software.....they seem to have suffered a number of gremlins in the past couple of months.
 
I got the top up 275 special that includes 110 MB a month when I got the iPhone 4 last year. Suddenly this morning I only received 100 mb of data. I queried it today and Vodacom will follow it up.
 
Ive got 500 too, but that is including the carry over from the last few months.
 
Nope no carry over. I have 500MB allowance for the month of August.

Same with me. Hope the monthly bill is going to decrease in that case. Or we're losing out on our 10mb.

I am on the same TopUp 275 plan and I also saw this, I know Vodacom changed the bundles from 1Aug but surely we signed for 110MB/m so surely we should get that, we are now getting 10% less than we should. I'll also try find out but if you manage to find out, please post the info here.
 
I'm posting the outcome of this (not that it is good news though) for abzo and other's benefit. So I just got a call from Vodacom regarding the call I logged with them on this. Basically the R379 total I pay on the iPhone 4 Top Up 275 deal was essentially for the handset and the R275 of airtime/money you can use. The "Promotional DATA Bundle" which was 110MB was basically free and that has now been dropped to 100MB.
So bottom line, as I see and understand it, I am now getting the same value for the contract ie R275 to spend and the handset but I now have less free/promotional data (100Mb vs 110MB) which isn't cool but I can see what they are getting at now it was explained.
 
I have a Iphone Talk120 package with 250mb data per month. From today it has changed to 500 mb?? Does anyone know why?

Just guessing (based on this: http://mybroadband.co.za/news/broadband/29650-new-vodacom-broadband-pricing-unveiled.html ) a 300MB bundle cost R159 so lets say (I can't find the info off hand) that a 250MB bundle probably cost R149 before (working off blue side of one table). Now a 500MB bundle costs R149 so for the same payin amount you are getting more data (red side of the table).
As I say I am just speculating here, you could call 082-155 (data helpdesk) and ask them to be sure.
 
i am on Italk 500 and also got increased from 250 to 500. I dont see anywhere were it's Night Owl data.
