Vodacom Iphone packages

Hi. Could someone tell me if the Iphone is only available in advertised packages or will VC be able to calculate a pay in for me on any other package. I have upgraded before with VC where I choose the package and then they would advise which phones are 'free' and which have pay ins and how much. Preferably I'd like to be on some sort of top up and just pay in for the phone.

So the iPhone is actually FREE on these iPhone contracts without the specials?
Isn't R250.00pm contract too cheap for a free iPhone?
