Vodacom - Iphone - SMTP

Some help please,

I use Afrihost ADSL at work, which I connect to through WIFI on Iphone
At home I have a Telkom Mobile contract and connect via WIFI with Iphone
When not using the above, it will be normal Vodacom 3g.

I'm struggling to setup SMTP server to work on all three. I have en Mweb address and was told to use smtp.mweb.co.za with authentication etc..this workd on Afrihost Wifi, but not on Vcom or Telkom mobile.

Any suggestions, how do you guys send mail when connecting to various wifi hotspots?

If you're using port 25 that may be an issue.. many ISP's re-write that port to a local server. Try port 587 or 465 for your SMTP.

587 Works perfectly when connected to Afrihost via wifi,

the moment I turn the Wifi off on Iphone and try ending via Vodacom 3g "The connection to the outgoing server smtp.mweb.co.za failed"
