I have updated my credit card details on the V4ME site for the 4th time in the past six months. All because I moved banks.

Right now for the life of me I have no idea why V4ME every now and again resets itself back to my old banking details, Which means the debit order is returned followed by a R50 return fee from Vodacom. I have even called Customer Care and they updated it the second time but yet it diverts back to my old Banking Details.

So I have no idea what to do?

Customer Care is useless as they can't help. All they can do is update the banking details again and see if that will work next month.....

So to date I have paid R200 more then I should have. I Can't wait to leave Vodacom.

Plus where I live there is a very congested network and I am unable to use my data card at all (it is simply to slow, so why bother) calls don't go through and when they do, they drop. Plus most days you can call my Vodacom number and will receive the unavailable message.

I have logged Network faults, time and time again. I get told that "the base station has healthy stats and there are no problems" However the technical department does not take to time to listen to me, the base station they are checking is the wrong one. Technical inform me the base station has EDGE, Yes if I go into town I receive a signal from the base station they are checking which works 100% and has EDGE. But if I am at home I receive signal from another base station with GPRS. So logic was lost somewhere.

I have reached a point where I just want Vodacom to disappear. I now have a Cell C phone which works better, Plus a MTN data card which is a dream. Meaning I have no need for Vodacom anymore, and paying them for services I am unable to use. I am so sorry I took out contracts with Vodacom and ever dealt with them.

One more thing, I thought I would give them one more chance. I bought a prepaid SIM loaded R200 airtime and activated roaming (which was confirmed by Customer Care) when I got to London guess what? IT DOES NOT WORK! So I was very lost and had to use a pay phone.

I might just have bad luck, but I don't have a clue why Vodacom is just a waste of time for me?
