Vodacom LTE/4G

Hi there,

I am very confused and hoping someone is able to help me.

I am currently with Vodacom and using an iPhone 6, 64Gb. I am in a LTE coverage area and my iPhone says it is connected to "Vodacom 4G" yet my friend with the very same device says "Vodacom LTE".

Can someone please explain the difference.

is your friend also using a iphone 6?
 
Ok...both are prepaid numbers, so cant be what I thought it might be.

It is strange that both are on the same firmware. That is the only thing that remains that would explain it /shrug.
