I have an out of contract LTE account with Vodacom which I cancelled on 31 July expecting the service to be terminated on 1 September. Vodacom have now informed that I cannot cancel on the last day of the month and have now sent me a cancellation acknowledgement to take place on 31 October. My understanding is I need to give one month notice which I did. I don't care if its the last day of the month its still one month notice. This smacks of incompetence. How can a cancellation on 31 July only become effective 31 October?
