Vodacom LTE Cancellation Policy

I have an out of contract LTE account with Vodacom which I cancelled on 31 July expecting the service to be terminated on 1 September. Vodacom have now informed that I cannot cancel on the last day of the month and have now sent me a cancellation acknowledgement to take place on 31 October. My understanding is I need to give one month notice which I did. I don't care if its the last day of the month its still one month notice. This smacks of incompetence. How can a cancellation on 31 July only become effective 31 October?

You have it all wrong. Go and study your Contract Terms and Conditions properly
1) One month = 30 days
2) One Calendar month = The amount of days in that particular month concerned.

I don’t think so. 31 July to 31 August is 31 days. They should not be billing me for September nor October

You didn't jump through hoops in the correct order unfortunately.

Dreading when I need to start the Vodacom shuffle next November to cancel my R105 Samsung special.
