Vodacom Lumia 930

So spoke to Vodacom in Somerset Mall, they only order it on Customer Request.
Then phoned Cellucity in Somerset Mall aswell and they said they expecting stock tomorrow and said I should phone on Thursday again to check and possibly keep me one to collect on Saturday(since I'm only home on weekends).
 
Vodacom added it to their device listings on their website again this afternoon, and although that doesn't necessarily mean anything (as it's been listed on and off since the beginning of August), it may well be a positive sign...
 
Well it looks like the day has finally arrived... Vodacom's website no longer showing "Out of stock"... Here's hoping it's for real!!
 
When you select the 930 it defaults to Black colour and shows 'No Stock , expect delays" ....

Change the colour to White and it does not show No Stock and can be ordered...
...wonder if that is just a website glitch or they actually do have stock?

It seems like the black one is also now available, so they were probably still loading the stock on the system.

When I phoned this morning they confirmed that the stock had arrived and that they would hopefully start shipping out orders today or tomorrow...
 
Yeah phoned a few shops now they all still waiting on their stock saying it should be here by Friday or Monday.
So guess we will only have our phones next week.

Those that ordered online might have it by Friday.

UPDATE: Just got an SMS from Vodacom saying that my order is awaiting dispatch, so hopefully it will be delivered tomorrow :)
 
Picked mine up from Vodacom Centurion mall yesterday afternoon. Their stock arrived. Vodacom in vodaworld also told me their's will arrive today.

I have to wait till next week. Will still go and try my luck tomorrow but highly doubt it.

I see Microsoft is opening the bundle deal again in UK. Wish they would do the same here :(
 
Just got my Lumia 930! Much excite. The didn't have black so had to settle for white. Busy restoring now then need to wait for my SIM swap to complete.

.... only black available in Pretoria.
 
Reality check:

32GB and no SD slot.
1 image (20MP) 7MB.
15 minute (1080p) video = 2.5GB.

Android: No.

Not everything is about android (coming from an Android user). Though, on the memory capacity side of things, I totally agree :)

Even the Nexus don't have SD slots. The capacity is fine, you're not meant to record concerts using your phone
