wasn't this something icasa ruled they can't do?

the only time i have got a phone on contract since something close to 10 years is when it is a work phone.

i buy my own handsets

Another reason why I won’t be doing contracts going forward. Just zero point. In fact all contracts we had have already lapsed.

ICASA will have to just implement the ban (they were dumb as always not to follow through) and I’m sure CC will be on them fast as it lessons impact of number portability.
