Any resources on this highly appreciated.

In Short:
-R8500 data bill that I apparently used in 3 days on Vodacom.
-Call limit was "removed" by a GOST, Vodacom refuse to assist until I pay the account.
-After three months I eventually paid the account, they contact me and told me I'm a "high risk" and requested an additional three months contact in advance, that I also paid. (now I was almost R3600 in a credit with them)
-After payment was settled again in full they told me that my number of +- 13 years was deleted from the system and told to apply for a new contract. Just left my job and started my own business, so I did not have a payslip and the business was still busy setting up - so no way I could get the documents they required for a contract.
-I confirmed everything they told me in writing + faxed to them. (part where they deleted my number after 3 months and the contract part) - they phoned me after 6 months and told me that it was a "communication problem" between the two parties and offered to re-instate my number automatically without any paperwork.
-By this time I already got a new number for the business and was not interested in the contract again - you cannot run a business like this. (changing numbers continuously)

My problem is that they acknowledged they made a mistake, I was told that the issue was resolved 12 months ago. I requested copies of our correspondence and the voice recordings, but they simply refuse to supply.

Now i received letters from Munni Basson Dagama Attorneys.
-They apparently forwarded me a letter the 24th of July. (+- R500 for each letter issued - never mind if you received it or not)
-Next letter dated 9th of August - ask to respond before 31st of August. (POST OFFICE STAMP 21st of August - did not post it on the 9th as they stated)
-Next letter dated 19th of August - also not received.

I tried several resources with no luck. Is there any suggestions or additional resources apart from spending more money on lawyer fees, a part from the R21 000 cost already?

also had a "communication problem" with Vodacom back in 2006. They deleted my number of then 5 years standing after they f@cked up with a Blackberry contract. Long term solution whenever MBD send a letter reply briefly and tersely and let them run up costs Keep records, bark occassionally at the NCR and debt collectors council and if MDB write to you as attorneys (check who signs the letter) the relevant law society. Keep an eye for any adverse credit information they put on and query it with the credit registry (experian for example) within 12 months they will give up even thinking about making an adverse credit statement and in actual fact other credit providers will regard it as a fully paid account. After three years the terse letter gets very short and simple: Please note that any claim you or your client may wish to claim on this matter has prescribed.

Let them pay for their own stupidity, also learn a few choice insults.

I also assume you were a victim of the OOBShark?
