So, I just got my Galaxy S9 upgrade from Vodacom and popped in my sim card. It is doing something very weird though.
If the phone's 4G is activated, I get good 4G signal and my data connection functions perfectly, but I cannot make or recieve calls or SMSs, and the phone says "Emergency Calls Only" instead of the network name.
If I switch the network mode to 3G/2G only, suddenly my calling and so on works again and it recognizes me as being on Vodacom-SA network. This is fine, I suppose, but it kind of is a waste not to be able to use 4G on my phone.
Anyone have any idea what is going on?
