Vodacom network down

I have had 'No Service' on my iPhone all day. Went to vodacom shop this morning and they say network problems. Still down tonight and call centre not very helpful. Only some people seem affected. I live in Cape Town.

I don't understand how vodacom can be down for a whole day second time in one month and they seem very unconcerned. Does anyone know what is going on?
 
Had the same problem this morning. Started working around 4pm
 
I have logged a fault, however expected it to be fixed by now. It has been down the whole day and is still down. Get no sense of urgency from vodacom.
 
Ha Ha You are obviously confusing "downed network" with "my cell can't connect to the network". The first issue is a HUGE problem! The second issue is also a HUGE problem - for you :D Vodacom in Capetown is all fine. My suggestion is to use your sim with another cellphone until you learn how to hold you iPOO :D

Your one and only post since May this year and you choose to use it to ridicule someone without bothering to actually check your facts. Nice we need more of you. Vodacom's call centre confirmed they have network issues with specific users.

Hey, It was not ment to upset you or anyone. Look at the BIG smiley :D OK I am new. Did not realize this forum is so rough and people will take my comment so serious. Sorry for upsetting you. Should I delete the comment or what? I am using opera mini.

You can leave the post - but you should always read what people say before making statements.

Iphone users are notorious for their unpredictable behaviour. Never make sudden movements and always look them straight in the eye. Never turn your back on them either or show your teeth.

Just kidding.

Are you guys sorted? You able to connect to the network again?

Yeah mine started working at around 4pm yesterday - and for the record I do not have an Iphone :p Android is my friend.
 
This morning after switching off and on my service was up and running again. I understand that tech problems can happen - however it was the total apathy from the vodacom store and call centre that got my back up!

Very interesting the jealous comments solicited by my mention of iphone in original post..... All I can say is you don't know what you're missing out on. :-)
