Vodacom Network Settings?

Why is it the when you use either *111# or www.vodacom4me.co.za to request GPRS settings you never receive them?

Yet when you go directly to the appropriate Nokia, Samsung or Motorola site and do the same, you get the settings in seconds!

I assume that Vodacom want to cut down on data use on their network??

Vodacom employees are on a 'go slow' this week. Try the site for your phone - Nokia, Sony E etc. If the phone is new, you will probably get the real settings anyway.

Go Slow? That technically means faster as they are usually static!

Ive never had any delays or problems with MTN's services. I am not sure why everyone is so far up Vodacom's A$$...

The fact is Vodacom do actually provide a better service, well here any way! Here, Vodacom have HSDPA, 3G & EDGE, MTN don't even have EDGE yet the local outlet still tries to push their data card!
