Vodacom one net express, or similar

This is strictly speaking not Voip, but I assume that the experts on PABX options etc is in this forum.

We have a small business with between 5 and 10 permanent employees at any time. about half of the emplyees (3-5) work from home as "agents" and the rest in the main office. Telephone connectivity and quality is very important, both to external customers and internal between employees. We need PABX type functunality between employees, e.g. transfer of calls, group peckup, etc.

The work from home agents personnel turnover can be high, and permanent installations like ADSL, phone lines. etc is not feasible. Fixed installations at the main office is possible, and we do use ADSL and telkom lines.

Currently we have a traditional PABX with telkom lines and premicells, but are relocating office to Cape Town within next 2 months.

The vodacom One Net Express looks like an option for our business. Any feedback from users of this system? Is there similar products on the market, or what else should we consider. Our phone calls currently ammounts to about R15 000 pm.

You need to get a voip/pbx in your office, and all remote locations can have internet connected VOIP desktop phones or we recently managed to install soft phone into your cell phones and receive calls like office extension to your cell or as I mentioned to desktop phone.

most important you need a feasible, reliable internet connection, thats all.

As the company is small 10 users as you point out and by the fact that you say some are home workers, the solution that i strongly recommend would be a hosted PBX solution. Added to the fact that you have a R15,000 spend , the saving alone on this bill will cover the implementation expenses and hosting fees.
As you are worried about the staff turnover , the solution really only lends itself to 3g last mile connectivity but make sure its GOOD 3g ! and use a Poynting antenna if required.
