Only a suggestion, but do you think there is enough demand for Vodacom to start offering packages?

For example I've 'made' my own package based on my budget/usuage :

Talk 240
200 SMS bundle
150MB data on phone
2GB Data at home

I think it came to R1200.00pm and it actually covers all my comminication and everything I do with Vodacom

Why not drop the 150MB bundle and get a DataSIM for home and share the 2GB between the two?

Didn't know that existed ... :/

You can have upto 3 sims on one account.
Twincall
Blackberry
Data(for Modems)

All on one account.
150MB for your phone is quite a bit, what you downloading?

General browsing ... FB, mail, MyBB ;)

I don't get near 150MB - but I think one smaller is too small (75MB?)

To clarify. You can have up to two DataSIMs on one account. In addition as JK8 points out you can also activate Twincall and BB, but the BB comes with a larger monthly cost and besides you need a BB don't you ;)

Ok ...

Here's my thinking : drop the 150MB (R119pm) and sign for a 250MB/laptop (R398pm). Effectivly R279.00pm more than I am now - but get 250MB to share AND a netbook?

Share the 250MB on the phone/laptop with DataSIM. Am I Understanding? ;)

The DataSIM is a data/sms only. So if you take a data contract and add a DataSIM then all you have is data access. You need to take a voice contract, add a data bundle to it and then apply for a DataSIM on that contract.

So if you can get a notebook with a voice contract instead of a phone, slap a data bundle on it and sitck a DataSIM in the laptop.
