Vodacom Pre Paid Airtime/Data

Is there any way to get Vodacom to advise you of when your airtime/data is getting low?

use the vodacom app. Can see it in real time on your android phone.

On my top up contract, I get an SMS when data is low, not airtime. Is it not the same on prepaid?
