So the wife recharges on 6 January 2011 and activates her BIS.
A few days ago she got the standard (supposed to be scary) SMS from Vodacom informing her that her BIS service will be deactivated on 5 Feb 2011 (either 5 Feb or 6 Feb, I don't recall which at the moment) and she must please recharge before that or her email & messages may be permanently deleted.
Then she gets another (supposed to be scary) SMS from our friendly Vodacom saying that her BIS service will be deactivated on 28 January 2011, and she must please recharge before that or her emails and messages may be permanently deleted.
Low and behold, yesterday morning her BIS service gets deactivated.
Is this normal? If not, is it worth my while querying it with VC? Since the wife is on prepaid, would be easier to simply move to another service provider (I'm liking what Cell C is doing in the market)?
We're not in Cell C's magical 21.1 Mbps network coverage area, so that's not really an incentive at the moment.
