Did anyone else notice the big jump on the new/upgrade contract prices since Monday? From R80 to R250 per month up. My current contract also up approximately R150!!!

Strangely enough mine has gone down? When I did an upgrade. Is it possible it's the package you've selected?

New Deal as from the 7th Feb
APPLE IPHONE 11 128GB BLACK + 20GB DATA X 1 - (C) @ R929 PM (R699 Finance + R230 Sub on uChoose Flexi 230

What must also be remembered is that if you upgraded two years ago with a deal which had some kind of reduced subscription on your package (if you take a no device upgrade deal for example), after 24 months that reduction falls away.

Yup seeing the same....they are now also charging interest on the device with the 36month contracts as well...

iPhone 11 pro on Smart Data 1GB
24x R1199 = R28 776
36x R1049 = R37 764 - was R799 last month - R250 more per month.
That is a difference of R8988 between the 2 contracts.

Contract costs aside.
24x = R199 + R1000
Contract = R4776 and Device cost of R24000

36x = R199 + R850
Contract = R7164 and Device cost of R30600

R6600 increase on device cost...
