[Vodacom] Problems blacklisting a phone

A friend's phone was stolen on thursday evening, we phoned 111 to stop the sim and blacklist the phone. They told us they can't cause their system is being upgraded, we then spoke to the team leader who said that he could stop the sim and has done so and that we must phone back later to blacklist the phone. We phoned on friday around 12 again to blacklist the phone, we gave them all the details they asked for and was told they'll send me an sms with the ref no. We phoned again at 3 cause we hadn't recieved the sms, the operator then told us that the sim wasn't even locked and the phone hadn't been blacklisted, we then spoke to the team leader that stoped the sim and blacklisted the phone while speaking to him. We recieved the sms confirming this right after ending the call. I'm mostly very impressed with vodacom 111 but not after this.
 
lol i think this should be in the "Pitch a Bitch" forum :D Yeah there call center is pathetic. If you really want something done other than GPRS activation phone 155 then ask for someone in the techinal department. Only they seem to know wtf is going on there. Vodacom should at least educate there call center people, and that doesn't mean sending them to Cornerstone :(
