I swear how you bloody thieves are in business is beyond me.
Today has been one of the most terrible days I have had on this bloody network

Anyone else having trouble? Dropped calls, line goes dead.

So I though maybe its just me, but it wasn't, 2 more people same network, one in Lonehill and the other in Bedfordview.
How does one start to take this up with the CPA I am sick and bloody tired of this **** service :mad:

Ocleroux, you are more than Welcome to check my billing and see how many times I had to call back today just to prove I am telling the truth

3G in Centurion was also down...

To be fair equipment does release its magic smoke sometimes so if its a isolated occurence then I can live with it.
 
Just got off the phone with Vodacom Business support... Apparently their server controlling the APN service i.e. "internet" crashed on Friday. They did not give any more detail, but I would assume that their backup service kicked the bucket too... They are working on it and you could even see the BIS and BES services going down too (only a maybe)

(sorry, I know its not call related)
 
Like any of the other companies are any better? Everyone moans about cell phone companies...all over the world. It's not an SA or vodacom exclusive.
MTN makes Vodacom look stupid in terms of network quality, oh and thats utter crap, been overseas and the networks are far superior in terms of quality
 
Hello Marine. Was this in Sandton again? Remember Jannie said that the network upgrade is almost complete and that they will start with optimisation soon...if they have not already. Perhaps this is the cause? Perhaps if you PM Jannie and ask him he can check and see if any work was being done in your area where the problems were being experienced?

Same today - finally got hold of someone at that place via the accounts dept as the 111 was unavailable...AGAIN
The call center agent told my colleague that the network is falling down, the lines have been jammed with irate customers.
 
I was out of office and, since I couldn't get any connection on my phone, I couldn't report anything. Anyway, it seems to be working again so all's well that ends well.

I think you should apply for a senior position at the Red monster

I applied for Customer Care lieutenant but got turned down. Something about "Hitler tendencies". Not sure what that was about. All I did was stop by a guy in his cubicle on my way to the interview room and said "I will have your balls for lunch if that call aint resolved to satisfactory standards and closed by the time my interview is finished and I got this job"

Maybe I came on a little strong *shrugs*

Seriously though....will monitor that Vodacom sticky for feedback. I am curious as to what could have caused it myself.
