Anyone know what this is all about, I received the following SMS :

Dear Valued Customer, to comply with RICA legislation please visit your nearest Vodacom store with your original ID & proof of address to update your details. More info? Call 1187 or visit : http://voda.com/rica.

None of my details have changed.

That website also looks suspect, it is not www.vodacom.co.za

The website redirects to the official Vodacom site.

Vodacom are required to update your RICA details every 5 years or so. Same with the banks.

How could it be a phishing attempt if it instructs you to visit a Vodacom branch?

If you do not RICA your line, you risk having the line cancelled or supended.

I was assuming that it maybe was a phishing attempt relying on a few people to click on the link - I wasn't going to click on that link, it is not an official Vodacom site.

Um, the site is owned by Vodacom.
