Vodacom roaming issues (calls only)

I am in an area where Cell C's signal is pathetic that I have to set it on manual and roam on Vodacom all the time.

I have been doing this for almost two years with no problems at all until last week. I can use the internet on 2G without any issues but when I try and make calls I get 'the subscriber is not available' message even when the people I am calling have their phones on. This, thus far, has been happening with Cell C numbers and not any other network.

If I switch to Cell C on their horrible signal, I do get through. Unfortunately, I end up having dropped calls due to inadequate signal.

Any ideas?

Please update your location in your MyBroadband profile by clicking on My Profile in the blue band in the top-right corner of the page, then clicking on the pencil icon next to Location.

If you're on FB, go there & like CellC page & post your problem. I've had good results twice by doing this.
