Vodacom Router Default password?

Yeah silly to think I didn't already try that but thanks
 
Click on the link that says "How do I find the default login password?"...
 
Says its in the quick start guide but I can't find it will check again
 
Its a vodacom router that came new and sealed from Vodacom....
 
Iv reset the router to factory settings but still can't log in
 
Vodacom Huawei HG659 tried all the defaults that are online iv even reset the router to factory settings
 
Try using a different a different browser. I have two identical Huawei routers and I cannot log into the one using Edge but I have no problem when using FireFox.

Done that, again vodacom will be sorting it out on Monday apparently the Router needs to be on for them to do it it was off yesterday when they called

You alwasy gonna have to phone them to get your router log-in. They change the password after 72 hours of issuing you one.

Tip: Set your own password, then disable remote management in the Maintenance Tab, therefore they won't be able to reset the password.
 
Lashie130 is there a particular tab on the router management pages or is it a 'hidden' setting that requires a more deep-seated knowledge of router setups?
I have a Vodacom Huawei HG659 router that I need full control over without having to use their half-baked user portal and without them being able to reset the Username and Password.
