Can anyone please tell me how to get the vodacom setting as the *111# does not work at all and i am sick tired to be on hold to speak to an agent.

so any help would greatly be appreciated
 
why not register on vodacom4me.co.za and get the settings sent to your phone its much easier ?
 
According to our Vodacom rep, there is no longer a long wait for an operator. Why not try it and report back here. Go on.... do it... do it...;)

If there is still a long delay, then try going to the Nokia site and send yourself the settings for the Voda network.

That is not what v3g posted, which explains why you have not bothered to post a quote.

v3g posted that Vodacom's Data Help Centre 155 now has on average a 20 second time from final IVR selection to the time that one gets through to a 155 call centre agent.

v3g did not post anything about Vodacom's regular call centre 111, which is the number one would need to call to get settings sent through to one's phone.
 
Actually I did assume it would be the data operator so I don't see what was wrong with my post. I don't always have to quote what was quite clear (about the wait). Which is probably why you didn't quote him either.
In future just write a correction or a comment instead of infractions - be helpful & don't be a spider waiting to pounce will you?
