Vodacom/Show Max Data Usage

Good Morning All,

Ok so i subscribed to the show max package yesterday for R49.00 per month . Vodacom gives you 1 Gig of data to use for this service. Now my big question is this, if i use my Vodacom phone as a hot spot and then connect my tv to the hotspot and then use Show max on my tv, will it use the data provided for show max or will it come off my normal data on my phone?

Hey Tottenham,

the data that you get for the R49 is only for mobile use, so if you connect it to your TV/Smart Device, it'll use your normal mobile data that you bought, instead of the R49 sub data

Maybe not hey.. Both apps on the phone and tv will resolve to the same location / IP. That might be how they will alllow the 1GB to be used in bundle.

You will need to try first to see if this works thou.. maybe a short 2 minute view then check data balance
