I am trying to change my data bundle from 75 to 20 on the new vodacom modify services portion of the vodacom4me site. When deselecting the 3g 75 option and selecting the 20 option it responds with server timeouts. It seems also to get 'stuck' when going from page to page.

I did manage to activate the 3g 20 option and then in a separate session deslected the 75 option then it showed that both were enabled. This morning I am back to just the 3g 75 option. Deselecting it, there is no 'submit' button. Trying to go back the page just 'hangs' on loading for ever.
Why did they remove the Vodacomsp site. At least it worked right. Oh well a free call to 111 will have to suffice.

I needed the 75 bundle last month as I was on leave out of town and have no need for it now as I STILL do not have proper 3g access at my home address even though the towers in the area are supposed to be 3g enabled. I only want the 20 data bundle to update my PPC when not at home.

I have the same type of problem ... want to reduce my SMS bundle from 500 to 200, but every time the server responds and says that it cannot be processed. Yesterday it did work however, and when I checked this morning just to make sure, it was back to 500 again

Eish, my head aches!

Have you guys also reported these problems to Vodacom's Data Helpdesk?

(082)155 AFAIK free using any Vodacom sim card...

It should help to get some priority given to resolving the problems...

Its easier just to bitch about it here!?!?!:D

Yes, true, but please also report it to 155, that way it gets logged in Vodacom's system, and hopefully given automatic priority, not so v3g?

Yup, I know you are right IC - I have just come from the site and see the new adhoc databundles have been added but no prices yet so they are probably still working on it

See here: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showpost.php?p=319768&postcount=43

- will check again tmorrow and phone them if not fixed yet.

I would luv to have an integrated automated fault reporting system where forumites can submit a problem report to any of the broadband service providers from MyADSL/QUOTE]

Maybe on the next forum software upgrade ;)
