Comes out 5 July apparently.

Not sure of price but in the UK it goes for 295 Pounds which converts to R5669,11. Think it would go for around R8-10000 if not mistaken.

You can get a better spec phone cheaper. Yes Vodacom will add at least R150pm over the selling price. Expect to pay nearly R400pm for the device.

Also you'll probably never get updates ever. I've had two Vodafone devices and both times no updates.

At R8000, that puts it directly up against the Mi5? The Platinum 7 seems to have the better screen (and expandable storage), the Mi5 has the better chipset?
