Vodacom systems down

Went to Game today, wanting to take out a contract and were informed that VC's computers had been down countrywide since yesterday...

Is this the case? If so, how can it be that their entire system can go down, and so often. This is about the 3rd time I can remember wanting to do something contract-related only to be told to come back another day because their systems are down.

Does not seem to happen to MTN or Cell C with the same regularity.

The store probably had a problem and just to make you feel it wasnt their fault they made it sound like its a big problem and not theirs...

Hi there,

we are based here in Isando, JHB (close to OR Tambo) and seems there is a problem with Vodacom.

You can phone a VC cell, but does not connect (although on your phone it seems to, but no communication either way), when you are lucky enough to connect, your call gets dropped after a second, etc.

And about 10 people here on my floor is all having the same experience, not just me...
