talking pts are forced on everyone we arent given a choice. if u take time to calculate how pts are earn & their rewards, u will be surprised at a ripp-off by vc. it is better to buy a phone vs trying to get a phone via talking pts. it is better to buy data or any bundles as well.

Talking points is merely a rewards program offered to prepaid clients @ no monthly charge or subscription fee. It is not meant as a payment platform to "purchase" new phones. There are some very high spenders on prepaid that that will reach enough points to purchase new phones....but for the lower end user...there are cheaper items to purchase such as SMS bundles etc.

i know it is free. my issue is how u earn pts & rewards. they do advertise u can get a free with talking pts, if i do my calculation it's better to buy a new phone not thru rewards.

To buy a phone...you need enough points...to get points you need to recharge with airtime. If you are going to chase points to buy a new phone by recharging with airtime that you dont need....then yes...you are correct...this is not the way to do it. Hence why I said Talking Points is a rewards program....not a payment method to buy phones.
