Vodacom Topup Contract

Hey all,

K so I could only find 1 thread on this from back in 2010 and didn't want to resurrect it. I'm currently on a Topup 315 contract that will end in a few months and will probably go back to prepaid. Does anyone know what happens to that airtime balance when you go to prepaid? Will it stay and I can just use it normally? Or is Vodacom going to be a douche and take that away?

I'm not 100% sure so don't quote me on it but as far as I remember when I changed my TopUp 49 to prepaid when I got a second TopUp 135, I am pretty sure I still kept the airtime

You definitely keep your remaining airtime. I was on a TopUp 500 and converted to prepaid last year. The TopUp balance was carried over to my prepaid account.
