Vodacom upgrade ... blues

So I got two contracts up for upgrade (one was due 5 months ago) and decided to use their very convieniant vodacom.mobi/upgrades page on my phone. No surprise, the page cannot be found. I last used this page in December for a previous upgrade.

So I fill in their online form using my portal account as I get to save R200 on admin fees and I promptly get a mail to say "We endeavor to attend to all e-mails within a 24 hour period." ... its now 26 hours latter an no surprise.

No wonder my service provider makes a killing with upgrades. With him I just phone his store, give him the MSISDN and the deal I want and then he handles everything else. He even drops it off in person at my wife's business. Guess the R400 saving of not working through him is not worth the frustration ... :mad:
 
I have recommended how many times on here now that people rather just use the store. That is what they are there for. I have had many people PM'ing me for help with queries to Vodacom direct. If you go that route...then you need to sort it out with them.
