Vodacom Upgrades

I'm on TopUp 315s with vodacom. I just checked my Upgrades on vodacom4me site. I'm eligible for upgrade on 12/03/2011. What I would like to know is that is there a way by which I could fast track the process and upgrade on July 2010.

I do spend on average R1000 per month on my Vodacom account, this includes data bundles and additional airtime.

If you are spending a lot on additional airtime, perhaps it would be beneficial for you to move over to a Talk package. How much you spend on airtime for calls?

Thanks for the reply, Can I atleast assign my current contract to a diffent cell number, and open another contract?

PS: On a RICA note, I tried doing that at the OR Tambo Airport, but all their computers were offline, I then went to the Duty free area at the Vodafone store and asked if I could register for RICA and they said that they can't do it. So it appears that I'm screwed since I'll only be coming back to SA sometimes in June.

I have heard someone mention in the Vodacom forum that swoping a cell number around is possible, but I cant say I have ever done this before, so I cant say yes or no. I suggest your ask this in the Vodacom forum for further feedback on this issue.

You still have untill December for RICA. Was just a friendly reminder.
