i have a smart120 contract with vodacom. i regularly check my remaining airtime for the month, my remaining sms's and my remaining data. to do this, i use the ussd service as follows:
to check my airtime:
*111#
option 1
option 2.
or i can enter it in one go as follows:
*111*1*2#
likewise my sms bundle:
*111*1*3#
however, when i try *111*1*5# (for my data balance), it always returns an error. this necessitates my having to go through the menus to see my data balance (with the attached annoyances of time delay, having to put my phone on silent, not being able to assign this to a speed dial).
any ideas why this is so? anything i am missing?
