I have a contract for two numbers, of which one my husband uses. On Saturday we both have been problems with voice calls. When we dial out the person on the other end anwers but there is no sound. This is happening on an off.
We changed handsets that were lying around the house but no change. So off we go to a went to the VC repair shop. The guy that "assisted" us did not even test the numbers and only suggested SIM swops, as if that would solve the problem. Afterwards I phoned the customer care number who also told me to get SIM swops, although he admitted if it was the SIM's, voice calls would have failed altogether. He did however offer to escalate the issue once the SIM's have been swopped.
What was really strange is that about an half hour ago my husband phoned me again to try and figure out the problme, and we could both hear someone else answer but could not hear each other over the phone.
It would seem VC is not interested in solving the problem unless we spend money on new SIM's, which really doesn't seem to be the problem.
Anyone else experience this?
