Hi All,

so this recently popped up on both wife and fathers and phones.
both have business contracts with Vodacom

no they did not click on anything.
these messages are entirely unsolicited.
the phones were just lying around and the screen changed to this message.
WTF vodacom?
both phones are Iphone X

Wouldn't necessarily call it a scam...

There is a possibility that the numbers were entered by a 3rd party into a WASP webpage... and the message is meant to be the double opt in (if VC have that now)

You got the check.... and you're lucky about that... many years ago there weren't any... it would just subscribe you.

I got an automated phone call from an 087 number, and then it brought up the same pop up. I immediately pressed cancel, ended the call, and blocked the number.
