My brother and I have been receiving these USSD popups of late, just another cheap trick to get you to subscribe to WASP services. You can send '2' to decline, or hit cancel until the cows come home, the popup comes back every 2-3 days. It is annoying. Scum of the earth getting rich.

Maybe your brother pissed off someone, who is trying to subscribe him to the services.

Clearly Vodacom giving up on their unauthorised vlive subscriptions, need to catch people another way now into their wasp net.

Popups continue. I have now started receiving them on my work phone, Huawei, that only has the stock apps installed. Their call center agents obviously don't have a clue what I am referring to when I ask them to stop with the popups.

Are you sure an Application that you have downloaded recently has not downloaded some Adware?

Yes. This is happening on my work phone, too. There are only a couple of third party apps installed. Truecaller, whatsapp, speedtest.

Basically being spammed. By Vodacom. Nice.

My email to Vodacom not that long ago after unauthorized amounts being charged to my account stating"content fee"

Should you continue with this scam I WILL LAY CHARGES OF THEFT AGAINST YOU.

The amounts were credited within about two weeks. It seems it's the only way they listen
