Vodacom Wimax - map

I see Vodaom also has their Wimax map running with their normal 3g map.
It seems as though there is only coverage in gauteng though

They're got pretty awesome coverage in Durban as well.

There's coverage in Cape Town and Durban too, but they just left me out. You have to zoom in quite a bit to actually see the coverage. Nice maps they have though.

not that I know of but they said that they will be launching this month.

Anybody have any clue as to how this WiMax will be offered? Will it only be contract or will there be a prepaid system as well?

I'm reasonably sure that its going to be contract only.

I'm also just out of range of Vodacom Wimax. Neotel's Neoconnect & iBurps as well. I won't touch iBurps. Will be interesting what the Wimax offerings will look like.

For the time being I will have to be happy with my 3G/HSDPA.

the map shows reservoir hills a suburb of durban with no 3G/HSDPA coverage but i get 100% signal

So Mweb is reselling Vodacom 3G and iBurst. What are the chances that they'll use Vodacom's license to start offering WiMax again?
