Hello Everyone.
I am trying to understand and quantify my cost risk should I sign a Vodacom fibre month-to-month contract, and terminate the contract before the first 12-month period is up. I have worked through the fibre T&C's and for the month-to-month contract portion, it seems that I will only be liable for the following costs pro-rated to 12 months on contract termination earlier than the initial 12 months:
E.g. If I cancel contract within 2 months, I am liable for R3,220 / 12 x 10 months?
I have confirmed the basis of costs with Vodacom and how the month-to-month contract differs from a 12-month contract, but have given up trying to get the information from them on the cost breakdown. Also, I understand that no interest is factored into any of my calcs above, but this is just a basis calculation for a rough order of magnitude cost risk.
Any kind assistance will be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

- CPE (Router) - once-off cost value of R1,310
- ONT Installation cost - once-off cost value of (say) R1,000 (Vodacom said it was "seven hundred and something rand")
- Activation Costs - once off cost value of R910.
