vodacom4me down AGAIN?

is anyone else in cape town experiencing problems accessing www.vodacom4me.co.za?
if so, please post in this thread... at least we'll know we're not the only ones!

btw, would be nice if a vodacom rep could give feedback if/when & where major problems are experienced.

On Sunday I managed to log on, no problem ... typed my SMS & after clicking send it came up with the (now familiar) message that it couldn't be sent at that time due to some-or-other technical problem.

That seems to happen over 50% of the time, these days, which in some respects is worse than not being able to log on at all, as you've wasted more time in the process.

i had the same problem yesterday. in fact, over the last two years, these errors seem to be happening more often... more so than three years ago.
seems vodacom no longer want their paying customers to make use of the only freebie they "give" us.

A while back Vodacom told me the vodacom4me site is discontinued and users should log in at vodacom.co.za.

arthur, approx two months ago i phoned vodacom and was given the same solution, but could not log in via the new site. the rep checked a few things on his side and told me to clear my cache, cookies, etc. i told him i had already done so and it didn't help. he insisted i do it again... and i still couldn't access the site! i gave up trying to access the site and, about a week later, all was fine again....

why does vodacom not just admit it when they are at fault?!?

anyway, i have just managed to access www.vodacom4me.co.za again... and i have NOT cleared anything, reformatted my pc or anything!
